The drinking water hygiene test certificates have been renewed for all MAX FRANK products manufactured from the TW fibre concrete mixture.

Drinking water is a particularly valuable commodity that must be protected. Therefore, high quality requirements must be met for the production of drinking water tanks: In particular, all construction materials used for manufacturing are subject to external monitoring, including the test certificates required for this purpose.

The basis for these verifications are both the technical rules of the DVGW Code of Practice and the assessment principles for materials in contact with drinking water of the German Umweltbundesamt (UBA).

  • The testing according to DVGW Code of practice W 347 is the base for the hygienic assessment of cement-bound materials for drinking water supply.

  • In addition, for hygienic safety, materials and products in contact with drinking water must be tested according to DVGW Technical Standard W 270 with regard to the migration of chemical substances and the growth of microorganisms.

Both certificates have been updated again and are valid for all products manufactured with the TW fibre concrete mixture:

  • Fibre concrete spacers
  • Fibre concrete distance tubes
  • Sealing cones and sealing plugs

The test certificates are available via the following links:
