Palais an der Oper
The "Palais an der Oper", the former Residenzpost on Munich's Maximilianstraße, has been renovated and rebuilt as an exclusive residential and commercial building.
In addition to spacers, Stremaform® formwork elements, Coupler screw connections, Tubbox® column formers and the Fratec® special formwork were supplied with this project.
Fratec® is the forming solution for creating a variety of expressive concrete shapes. At the "Palais an der Oper", Fratec® was used outdoors as cornice formwork for the roof. MAX FRANK was involved at the planning phase and was selected due to the uncomplicated handling of the ready-to-install special formwork.
Advantages of Fratec® cornice formwork:
- Wall cornice can be realized in a concreting process
- Cornice moulding is supplied with factory coating
- with integrated drip profile for outdoor use
Tubbox® column formers were used for the project's eight meter high circular concrete columns.
